A sea from 40 Commando Royal Marines has been killed in an blast in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence pronounced today.
The MoD pronounced he was killed last night in an blast whilst on feet unit nearby Sangin in northern Helmand.
His family have been told.
Lieutenant Colonel James Carr-Smith, orator for Task Force Helmand, said: It is with dolour I contingency surprise you that a sea from 40 Commando Royal Marines was killed last night in an blast nearby Sangin in northern Helmand.
He was conducting a feet unit in sequence to serve rise the bargain of the internal area when he was struck by an explosion.
